Manny Villar's Greatest Asset

Manny Villar has powerful and influential people surrounding him. He has attracted and gained the support of many celebrities such as Dolphy Quizon, Willie Revillame and Manny Pacquiao. Each of them has given Manny Villar the last-minute firepower to to strengthen the campaign.

It is right to say that these endorsers have been Villar's big
assets in terms of drawing votes and endorsing his name all over the media. However, I believe Manny Villar has one great asset which we cannot overlook, and that this could possibly be the key to Villar's presidential success.

Noynoy Aquino is Villar's greatest political opponent, and it will not be easy to topple this "yellow giant" because he basically controls a large part of Philippine media. Kris Aquino and Ted Failon continue to bloat the news about false accusations agianst Manny Villar. They say this, they say that. But, there is one person who can be the key to Villar's success. This person I believe, is not afraid of the media, and she is able to command her audience with her presence alone.

And it is his own daughter, Camille Villar.

Camille Villar is young, smart, good looking, full of energy and charisma. She is a very eloquent speaker and she is very articulate in expressing her views and opinion. She is the youngest of three children, and a sister to her two kuyas who dont seem to like the high-prolie attention, unlike her. She is the darling of her father, the very person he seems to treasure the most. She is not just an ordinary daddy's girl. Camille is also a vocal youth representative and is active in the internet group of her father.

What I like most about Camille, is that totoo siyang tao (she is a real person). She is not someone who is pretentious, over-aspiring, and phony. She is far from the Aquino girls (especially that youngest one), far from the Arroyo boys (yes, that includes FG), and far from any other candidates' son, daughter or relative. She is a true gem, someone her father can easily bring with her during campaigns and can relate to the people. She possesses the capability to soften the masses with her warm and affectionate personality, yet she is able to connect with the rich and the middle bracket with class and articulation. I believe in her heart, and I believe in her intentions. All she needs to do is show up more often in front of the camera, and simply continue to look good.

She is already the "It girl" of Metro Manila, where she can be seen grazing the magazine covers, and newspaper interviews her and there. Kudos to her father and mother, she was brought up very well, being able to finish a college degree at the Ateneo. She is the reason why Manny Villar's 'family man image' is working. She and her father's chemistry has been excellent on and off the camera. Camille Villar is also the reason why I believe Manny Villar will win the 2010 presidential elections. He is the vote of conscience, the vote of justice.

I would like to leave with a quote from a blog reminding us how important it is to vote wisely:

"There will be an election in 2010. It will be your only opportunity to make drastic reforms in Philippines by voting the right person for President. It is important that you research and review the candidates. Know their history and how they performed while in the public office. What have they done to stop corruption? You have only one vote. Make it worth our country. Remove those who you believe do not meet the most important requirements. Remember, if you make an informed decision, regardless of who you pick, you are not throwing your vote away.

Please run the Philippines like a Corporation

Before Manny Villar was a Senator, he was a businessman.

Today he is still a businessman, and he ranks among the most successful Filipinos in history. He built a business empire out of nothing--a conglomerate which provided thousands of jobs and opportunities to the Filipino people. He built this empire with sheer hard work, persistence, perseverance, and the desire to live life.

If we let him become our leader, the Philippines will be like a corporation. If he becomes president, he will run the country like it is his most-valued corporation. This corporation will make money and In fact, I want this country to run like a productive company, maximizing the manpower and resources we were blessed to have. Manny Villar will run the Philippines like he did to his real estate corporation. If you haven't heard of any of his companies, then I suggest you do your home work.

Corporations are very organized. People within the corporation obey authority, and because of that, good things happen. People benefit from this corporation, like stakeholders, if they work and play hard.

Manny Villar is a builder. He has the necessary experience to run this country, as shown in his track records in the Senate and Congress. He is a visionary and he can make things happen. That is why on May 10, 2010, WE ALL CAN MAKE THINGS HAPPEN. It seems that I'm decided: I think I want to be part of that corporation. Let's vote Villar 2010!

One Way of Defeating This 'Economic Storm'

Entrepreneur - is a term applied to the type of personality who is willing to take upon herself or himself a new venture or enterprise and accepts full responsibility for the outcome.

Recently a top presidential candidate of the 2010 Elections awarded a group of entrepreneurs from Bicol to recognize their success at the Camarines Sur Convention Center. Senator Manny Villar awarded sixteen people, who were also recipients of P100,000 each to further enhance their capital for their already-growing businesses under the Go Negosyo program. Villar talked about how the country is affected by the global crisis and he urged that the best way to fight this crisis is by becoming entrepreneurs. He called these recipients "Economic Heroes" where most of them faced debt and bankruptcy during the early stages of their micro businesses. One of the awardees claimed she was on the brink of losing her business. The only thing urging her to continue was her passion to be successful and someday, be able to rise above poverty. She also says that Villar was instrumental in encouraging her to pursue her business.

Manny Villar was an entrepreneur himself and he continues to inspire many Filipinos, including me. He has taught me that perseverance and hard work are the two most important things in business, and in life as well. We all know his story and his humble beginnings and how he turned his small gravel business into an Asian empire. Today, he is spearheading the implementation of a nationwide entrepreneurial development program which recognizes hard work, talent, honesty and creativity. He rewards those who are passionate about what they do because he sees himself in those entrepreneurs as well, and he knows what they have been through.

This is what we should do and be. We must act, think, and behave like entrepreneurs. We must think out-of-the-box and go when no one else dares to. This is not about being blindly brave, but rather being intelligent and courageous at the same time. We must be willing to take on new ventures and be completely accountable for it. It is true that failure will definitely inevitable. We will experience this again and again. But we will be rebuilding our houses again and again, no matter what. The next time the storm comes, our homes will be stronger.

We can all become entrepreneurs in our ways. We do not necessarily have to start or manage a business to become one. All we need is the desire to achieve what in particular we want in life, and we must be prepared by having a plan to go about it. The road will not be easy but If we all do this, the economic crisis would just seem to be like a storm trying to shake a mighty stone house.

Success: The Unparalleled Zest for Life

Success stories always puzzle and at the same time amaze me. At this day and age where the global economic crisis has really taken its toll on most nations, we are left to make the most out of what we have given our dire situation. We need these stories to empower our people--especially those who are in need and seemingly at the bottom of the food chain and neglected by the ones supposedly in control.

Success stories puzzle me because people who are not expected to do great, do great. Those who have been mocked, made fun of, and trampled upon, are able to rise above their misery and into the realm of success. So what sets them apart? These people defy the laws of business and the way society works and prove most of their critics around them wrong. It is probably because they would rather go the extra mile instead of settling for the nearest stop. Experts say that to be successful, people must "think that they are successful."Success needs a very forward-moving and positive approach towards a particular goal.

Success stories amaze me because they give us a glimmer of hope when there seems to be none. Success stories amaze me because they prove to us that anyone is capable of rising above their struggles and they are able to turn their own weaknesses into their strengths.

The billionaire Donald Trump said that there are three unique habits which successful people possess. The first one is to be able to adapt to change shows versatility and flexibility, without sacrificing our values. Next, they are highly-motivated and passionate about their end goal. However, the most common trait of successful people is that they have this unparalleled zest for life. They want to live their life. It is almost impossible to stop them.

Our country is filled with these stories but only a few stand out. This blog will be filled stories, shoutouts, achievements, and and all the other outstanding things people have done in their lives to make our country better. As the 2010 Elections draws nearer and nearer, we must arm ourselves with the necessary information and stories to help us vote for the right candidate as well. Feel free to comment and share your own experiences as well!
